Xie Aige

Born in 1977 in Hunan Province, China, Xie Aige (谢艾格) is a sculptor known for her bronze works that convey sincerity, clarity, and hope. She graduated from Shanghai Fine Arts College and taught in the Cultural and Art Design Department at Tongji University in Shanghai. Xie Aige's sculptures offer a sense of peace in response to the chaos of her adopted city.

Her sculptures strike a balance between the ideal and reality, capturing figures that are poised, whimsical, reflective, and charming. Inspired by Buddhist thought and the human spirit, Xie Aige often depicts men in nature, evoking childhood memories of rural China.
